Paz Araya

Paz Araya has 10 years experience working on energy efficiency policies and energy efficiency education. She is a researcher at the Energy Center of the University of Chile. Paz holds a Master in Energy Economics from the Federico Santa María Technical University and a degree in Civil Mechanical Engineering from the University of Chile.

She has specialized in the area of energy, with special emphasis on the topics of energy policies, energy efficiency and sustainability. She has performed the technical coordination and direction of several Chilean projects, mainly in the public sector, both in the prospective analysis and evaluation of energy scenarios, as well as studies to support decision making for energy policies and technical support projects in energy efficiency.
