This report presents summaries of greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation assessments that were submitted by 14 national study teams that participated in the US country Studies Program.  All of the country teams conducted studies of the energy sector, although the scope of these studies varies considerably.  Seven of the teams evaluated mitigation options in the forestry sector. Five of the teams reported on studies of the agriculture sector, although in most cased the analysis was fairly limited.  Two of the countries conducted a quantitative assessment of the macroeconomic impacts of the GHG mitigation strategies.
