IES has been involved in activities related to Joint Implementation of Mitigation Technologies and practices. We have:

• supported a private sector company in developing a joint implementation (JI) office in Bolivia;
  
• provided technical review in developing a manual for countries to use in setting up JI offices;
  
• supported the technical review of 12 Joint Implementation proposals in India, Costa Rica, Belize, Honduras, Panama, Mexico, Indonesia, and the Czech Republic; and
  
• developed the Greenhouse Gas Project Formulation Tool (PROFORM) and trained experts in its use.
• used PROFORM for evaluation of US AIJ projects
