Joris Flapper, B.Sc. is a Visiting Researcher in the Energy Analysis Department at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). The research conducted at LBNL should contribute to writing his master thesis to finish his M.Sc. in Energy & Environmental Studies at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. His research areas at LBNL are industrial energy, water and resource efficiency analysis as well as identifying opportunities for improvement.

Prior to joining LBNL, Joris was, and currently still is, a student of the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. He holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management in the discipline of Product and Process Engineering. Currently he is pursuing a M.Sc. in both Industrial Engineering & Management and Energy & Environmental Studies.
